C’est la Vie

This week has been sooooooo busy, and it’s not slowing down anytime soon.  This week, I’ve had an orthodontist appointment (daughter got a palate expander), neighbor kids sleeping over (while their mom is in Africa), meeting someone for the first time (a friend’s mom, visiting from Paris – had to make sure the house was clean, sparkling water was room temperature, and my French was brushed up on!), and now I get to pack for a 4-day trip with the kids.  After my second cup of coffee, of course!  I am tired after just typing all that!

But c’est la vie!  I love my family and I love my friends, and the reality is that there is just not enough time in a day to accomplish everything I want to do.  Thankfully, I woke up this morning happy and healthy and looking forward to another day of living my life.

Life is a gift.  By keeping that perspective, I hope to make good use of my time, mend broken relationships that are important, enjoy hobbies, show Love to my loved ones, and live – really live.  Not just “get by” or “survive” or “endure”.  Life happens one day at a time, filled with single moments that cannot be re-lived.

Live Your Life today.  And smile:
